About Me

Hi, I´m Kath. Yoga became a part of my life early on, with my mum introducing me to it at home during my childhood. I am so grateful as yoga has helped me through many of life´s challenges, from loss and family illness, to pregnancy, birth and motherhood, and everything in-between. Regardless of where I am and what´s going on for me, it continues to help bring me back to balance. In addition to the numerous physical benefits, it helps me find stability in a chaotic world, calm my mind, relax my body and embrace joy. 

 

We all have our stresses and struggles. I believe yoga is a powerful tool for transformation and healing, so I feel really passionate about sharing practices to support and help others. My mission was always to create something unique - a space where students are empowered to explore what works best for their bodies, and nurture their wellbeing, in a non-judgemental, caring environment...so I created Lotus Yoga & Wellbeing. In addition to my Yoga Teacher training, I am a qualified Trauma-informed Yoga Teacher and Trauma Resilience Embodied Yoga Teacher.

My Approach

My approach is grounded in compassion, respect and inclusivity, understanding that each student has their own journey. I offer choices and empower students to tailor their practice according to their unique needs and pace. All experience levels and physical abilities are warmly welcomed. These yoga practices have the potential to reduce anxiety, calm inflammation, enhance sleep quality, uplift mood, improve digestion, boost immune response, sharpen concentration, and improve strength, flexibility, co-ordination, and circulation.
